CENSORSHIP IN 2022

While discussing this on the Bulldog Show repeatedly, this is the first time I’m writing about the censor subject matter.

I have learned an effective technique for debate and trial work over the years. The technique? Begin with a definition.

Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information. This may be done on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or “inconvenient”. Censorship can be conducted by governments, private institutions and other controlling bodies.

What are the exact words of the First Amendment?

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Our Founding Fathers believed these rights so important, they placed them first and together in one.

Few ever speak or write of the fact the Constitution created our government, but the Bill of Rights, which Patrick Henry insisted upon, protect us from the government.

Here we are in 2022 and the American Communist Ten led by the media, corporate America, the Democratic party and social media, push government over our rights. It’s simply contrary to the foundation of our country.

The mandates, the censorship by corporate America, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and all the rest is argued as “private” not government action. The legal distinction is a farce in 2022. Four of our U.S. Supreme Justices believed it to be a farce in the healthcare mandate case.

Our methods of communication have changed.

While not being allowed to sue platforms who claim to simply provide the platform for defamation, the platforms control and censor our free speech.

The suppression of ideas?

The censorship of debate?

The blocking, suspending and removal of voices?

Fact checking? Laughable.

By who? Further laughable.

We have the right to be wrong. No one ever mentions that fact either.

Look at the definition of censorship. What is harmful about our views except their “harm” to the other view?

The First Amendment covers:

  • Free exercise of religion
  • Free speech
  • Free press
  • Right to Assemble
  • Right to Petition Redress
  • All under attack in 2022 by those who want government to control us, especially free speech.

There really is only one way to fight back and win. It’s what government and corporate America always fears the most. Large groups speaking out and lawfully exercising their rights under the First Amendment.

BLM did it unlawfully. They still succeeded in their cause.

The Canadian truckers have succeeded.

It’s a shame corporate healthcare bought the doctor groups and half the healthcare workers. Imagine if they all walked in late summer 2021.

There is strength in numbers.

There is power in the Bill of Rights.

We can’t allow censorship to win in 2022 or any year.

Let’s all join forces and fight back.
